Javier Hernandez’s agent has debunked reports linking his client with a Premier League return.

Following reports that the former Manchester United striker could be set for a return to England with reports that Bayer Leverkusen understood to be believed to be willing on selling the Mexican. However, his agent Eduardo Hernandez has now dismissed such reports with his interview with La Aficion.

He said: ‘First of all, the claim that Javier has a bad relationship with his team-mates and the club is a great lie, ‘Secondly, neither is it true that the club is allowing him to leave for 25 million euros.

He also confirmed that there are several offers to sign Hernandez. ‘There are phone calls asking me about Javier’s situation,’ he said.

‘There are various clubs in various leagues who have asked about him, but the response is the same: I cannot determine his future without having spoken with the club with whom he currently has a contract.

‘The club has been asked and Bayer Leverkusen say ‘he’s not for sale’, so there’s absolutely nothing.’ Liverpool were said to be interested in signing the Mexican forward, has Jurgen Klopp prepares to bring in reinforcements to his current squad.
